About UsThe Dowell Middle School Orchestra began in 2005 and was joined by Ms. Beth Romig in 2009. The Orchestra is comprised of three upper level groups and three beginner level instrument classes. Dowell Orchestras have performed throughout the McKinney area and surrounding communities. They have won numerous sweepstakes awards at the annual UIL competition.
